Meet the 2012 Net Impact Board!

Suzanne Lunday, President
Suzanne is thrilled to be a part of the Fox Net Impact community. Suzanne first became interested in alternative capital models and community development after spending a semester abroad in Oaxaca, Mexico where she studied sustainable development. While in Oaxaca, Suzanne conducted on the ground research on microcredit lending which became the basis for her senior thesis. She earned a B.A in Economics with a minor in Anthropology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. After spending several years working in small business in Philadelphia, Suzanne is excited to be back in school working towards her M.B.A. at Temple University with dual concentrations in Finance and Strategic Management.

Brittany Gibbs, Executive Vice President

Bob Arnold, Vice President of Membership
Bob is currently pursuing his MBA at Fox with a concentration in Strategic Management. Bob has over 10 years of software engineering experience in designing, developing, and managing software projects. As a PMBA student, Bob has returned to school to position himself for new challenges in his career. As a member of Net Impact, Bob is focusing on spreading the Net Impact message with a goal of increasing membership and solidifying Net Impact in the Temple community.

Pragya Mantra, Vice President of Events
Pragya Mantri is pursuing a Full-time MBA program with a concentration in Marketing and Strategy at Fox School and intends to graduate by June 2013. She is originally from Mumbai, India where she earned an undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai. After completion of her undergraduate studies she changed her career path from a technical background to a business background and worked in a real estate company in India for 3 years as a business executive- marketing and sales. She has always been very passionate about social responsibility towards the community and had been involved with non-profit organizations dealing with underprivileged kids in India. With this in mind she wishes to continue her involvement with the community even here in the United States. While her stint at Fox Net Impact she intends to significantly contribute towards building sustainable business practices and help the Fox Net Impact Chapter achieve a reputation in this field. Apart from education and business, she has a keen interest in travelling, music, sports and dance.

Pete Ortiz, Vice President of Strategy
Pete is a first year MBA candidate. He is pursuing a double concentration in Business Strategy and Marketing. Pete is interested in triple bottom line companies and how they can leverage CSR and Sustainability as a competitive advantage. He is a member of the Sustainable Business Network of the greater Philadelphia area. His volunteer work experience includes teaching a GED class and tutoring adults at the Center for Literacy. Pete’s hobbies include playing soccer and producing hip hop and electronic music. He is hoping to help Fox Net Impact achieve big things while being proud to serve on its leadership team.

Marissa Sapega, Vice President of Marketing
Marissa is a first year MBA candidate with a background in web and graphic design. Her goal during
her leadership tenure at Net Impact is to educate Temple students on how sustainable business practices can improve a company’s bottom line, as well as reputation and image. Outside school she is a member
of the Lemon Society, a young professional Alex’s Lemonade Stand group, and does freelance web and graphic design work. She is excited to be a part of Net Impact at Fox and invites everyone to join!

Serena Fong, Vice President of Finance
Having moved from California, Serena is pursuing her MBA at Fox with a concentration in financial management. She has served the community around her through contributions such as tutoring local students, raising funds for remarkable causes (e.g. March of Dimes), and volunteering at nursing homes, and she wishes to continue strengthening the community around her. Serena wishes to motivate her fellow Fox colleagues to be a part of FNI to make and sustain measurable impacts so that organizations’ triple bottom line can be enhanced. Previously, Serena worked at the California Energy Commission on projects focused on land use, transportation, and energy efficiency.

Alana Schorner, Vice President of Board Fellows
Alana has spent most of her early career in finance and grant administration. She is an avid SCUBA diver and adventure seeker. She is enthusiastic about the vast non-profit community in Philadelphia and promoting student involvement within it. During her time at Fox, she plans to further develop the Fox Board Fellows program and help to integrate it into the curriculum.
