2011 Officers

Jon David, President
After working for four years at a public policy focused nonprofit organization in Philadelphia, Jon returned to his alma mater, Temple University, to pursue an MBA focusing on strategic management and marketing. While earning his bachelor’s in Political Science, Jon spent two semesters studying in Tokyo, Japan and interned at a non-governmental organization that provided micro-finance loans, business development and computer training to villages in South India. Jon is passionate about Net Impact’s mission to incite sustainable change through business, and plans to use his MBA to enter a career with a company that conducts business in a socially responsible and sustainable way.

Ann Dubensky, Vice President of External Affairs
Ann Dubensky is a proud Michigan native and an avid arts enthusiast.  She is a full-time Fox School of Business MBA candidate concentrating in finance.  Eventually, she would like to run her own arts-focused nonprofit organization.  Previously, She worked for the New England Foundation for the Arts and a legal research firm in Maine.  Her Net Impact interests lie in strengthening the connections between nonprofits, social entrepreneurs, funders and businesses within communities.

Andrew Master, Vice President of Strategy
Andrew is pursuing his MBA at Fox with a concentration in human resources. His prior experience as a social worker serving underprivileged families in the Philadelphia region, combined with his business background, have contributed towards his desire to be an integral part of improving the community around him. Andrew is confident that he can use his exposure to a wide range of people to achieve goals that can positively affect most, if not all, of them. Andrew loves to ski when it’s cold and golf when it’s warm, and he will never miss an Eagles game.

Meredith Setzman, Vice President of Marketing
Currently pursuing her MBA at Fox with a concentration in marketing, Meredith would like to remain an eternal student.  Since this is not possible, she hopes to utilize her time at Temple by getting involved in Net Impact, playing a role in making a difference, and applying what she’s learned in the organization to do something significant in her career.  Most recently, Meredith spent time at a public relations agency in center city, working on a variety of accounts ranging from chemicals to computer programming. Previously, home was in Happy Valley, where she earned her bachelor’s in communications from Penn State.

Yosi Shiloni, Vice President Membership
Yosi is an MBA candidate expecting to graduate in Spring 2011 with a concentration in business management. Prior to his studies at Fox, Yosi received his bachelor’s in business with an emphasis on economics and management from Ruppin College in Israel. He currently works as a group manager for Gate 1 Travel International.  Yosi enjoys involvement with sport activities, as well as traveling with his wife, Christine, and their children, Natalie, six years-old, and Adam, four years-old.

As part of Net Impact, his desire is to combine the love of international travel, a passion for corporate social responsibility (CSR), and his background to help students learn and tell the world about their CSR initiatives. As VP of membership, Yosi focuses on ensuring a superior membership experience for all Net Impact members – including professional, graduate and international members. He will continues to develop and deepen the members’ value proposition and programs, including career and learning initiatives. He also strives to enhance the Fox Board Fellows leadership program.

Penny Boonpoon, Vice President of Finance
Penprapha Boonpoon, better known as “Penny”, was born in Bangkok – a bustling, diverse, and extraordinary city, that she is proud to call her home. Penny graduated from the Faculty of Engineering in Thailand. She spent time in a hi-tech, electronics manufacturing environment, as well as two years in testing and functional analysis. After that, Penny decided to follow a more lucrative path, moving to Boston and taking finance and investment classes. She was so intrigued that she began to consider switching her career. Subsequently, Penny returned home and was offered a senior program administrator position at one of the world’s leading electronics manufacturing services companies. Finally, Penny headed back to the United States to pursue an MBA to advance her career path again. Penny enjoys movies and outdoor sports and activities, especially tennis and sightseeing.

Gerard Callan, Vice President of Program Development
